The Ockendon Academy have installed a Powerstar Lite 288 kVA Voltage Optimisation unit.
The Ockendon Academy is a large secondary School based in South Ockendon which believes that education outside the classroom contributes as much to students’ development as their academic studies. Being an Eco-School sustainability is very important to them, having already installed solar panels they felt that Voltage Optimisation gave long term cost saving on electrical items / lights which are used during night periods around the Academy. It would also significantly reduce their energy costs and reduce their carbon emissions.
