Ripple Primary School

Ripple Primary School have installed a total of 55kWp of Solar PV on their roofs across their 2 sites at Westbury & Suffolk Road.

The Background

Ripple Primary School is a large primary situated in Barking. They are a proud Eco-School and were the first within their borough to receive the prestigious “Green Flag” award from Eco-Schools. They believe it is important to teach children the benefits of lowering their carbon foot print. Solar proved to be a great option for them and using the Carbon Trust approved funding were able to embark on this project with no capital outlay to the school. The children and the community will be able to see the solar array, meaning the school can continue to lead the way in Eco technologies.
