Oak Bank School

Oakbank School have installed a 30kWp Solar PV array on their roofs.

The Background

Oakbank School is a coeducational school, located in Leighton Buzzard. They work with pupils who have Social, Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties. Their aim is to provide each of our pupils with an Education for Life, by valuing and respecting them as individuals, developing their self esteem and encouraging their individual abilities to their full potential in a caring, orderly environment. They want to give students the best possible start and looking at how they can cut their carbon footprint by introducing sustainable energy solutions is important to them. Solar PV worked out to be the best option for the school requiring no capital outlay via the operating rental solution.
