Netherthorpe School

Netherthorpe School have installed a 147.75 kWp solar PV array

The Background

Netherthorpe School in Derbyshire is truly thriving, standards of teaching are higher than they have ever been and their students are achieving remarkable results. New buildings have provided them with facilities that are a match for any in the area, yet their refurbished old buildings still lie at the heart of the school, as they have done for many decades.

Netherthorpe School was looking for information on ways to achieve their green ambitions. Having found Evogreen through Eco-Schools, they wanted more information on how they could not only save money on their energy bills but also generate an income from government incentives. Netherthorpe wished to demonstrate to their pupils that they are addressing the issue of climate change proactively as a school

“Evogreen gave our school what we wanted, not what they thought we wanted. They were very supportive from start to finish. I would recommend Evogreen to any potential customer, they are professional, patient and deliver what they say you are going to get, on time.”
