Langford Lower School

Langford Lower School have installed a total of 30kWp Solar PV array on their roofs.

The Background

Langford Lower School is a primary situated in Biggleswade, Central Bedfordshire. They seek to provide a rich variety of experiences to help children make appropriate choices in their learning. As an Eco-School it is important that Langford Lower give their pupils the best possible start in teaching them how what they do effects the planet. Solar panels proved to be a great option for the school as not only are they able to make savings and produce an income but in addition they are able to cut their Carbon emissions. Using the Carbon Trust approved funding the school have been able to do this with no capital outlay.
