Kelvedon Hatch Primary School have installed a 19.5kWp Solar PV array on their roofs.
Kelvedon Hatch is a small primary school in Brentwood, Essex. They have a strong and effective working relationship and are committed to ensuring that every child achieves their full potential in a happy and caring environment. Renewable energy is a valuable part of the children’s education, they feel it’s important to raise awareness of climate change and how they can prevent it. Using Carbon Trust approved funding, they were able to install Solar PV with no net cost. This enables the school to not only reduce it’s carbon footprint but produce a significant income which can be used in other areas of the school.
