Gothic Mede Lower School have installed a total of 30kWp Solar PV array on their roofs.

The Background

Gothic Mede Lower School is a primary situated in Arlesey, Central Bedfordshire. They provide a broad and stimulating curriculum promoting opportunities and encouragement for children to succeed and flourish. Being an Eco-School it is important to Gothic Mede to teach the children about their enviroment and how best to preserve it. Solar panels proved to be a great option for the school. Using the Carbon Trust approved funding the school have been able to do this with no capital outlay.
