Emerson Valley School

Emerson Valley School have installed a 21kWp Solar PV array on their roofs.

The Background

Emmerson Valley School is a large primary situated in Milton Keynes. They believe  that the school is a learning community and they recognise that each individual is important and has a valuable contribution to make towards the quality of life enjoyed by the people within it. They were keen to look at ways of saving the school money whilst cutting their carbon footprint, solar panels were a great fit for the school. Using Carbon Trust approved funding they were able to embark on the project with no capital outlay to the school. The money saved from producing their own electricity as well as the Government backed incentives can then be used elsewhere within the school.
