St Michaels

St Michael’s VA Junior School have installed a total of 30kWp Solar PV array on their roofs.

The Background

St Michael’s VA Junior School is a small primary situated in Bowthorpe, Norwich. They constantly strive to improve the internal and external learning environment through a rolling programme of decoration and repair as well as projects such as tree planting and growing vegetables through an Eco Council and other outside agencies. Solar PV was a great option for the school as it allowed them to keep expanding on their Eco projects and continue to teach the children about their environment. Using the Carbon Trust approved funding they have been able to do this with no capital outlay.
