Stour Valley Community School have installed a 30kWp Solar PV array on their roofs.

The Background

Stour Valley Community School is a small secondary school based in Clare, Suffolk. They are committed to building brighter futures for their students, the local community and the wider world. They felt that Solar PV was the perfect option for them as it encompasses what they are trying to achieve, as well as generating an income for the school. Using the Carbon Trust approved funding they were able to take on this project with no additional outlay to the school.

  • 278 tonne reduction in CO2 emissions over the project lifespan
  • Revenue generated from FiT Tariff £93,740 over the project lifespan
