Clipstone Brook Lower School

Clipstone Brook Lower School have installed a Bauder Solfixx 20kWp Solar PV array on their roofs.

The Background

Clipstone Brook Lower School is a small primary based in Leighton Buzzard, Beds. They are proud of their school and within the grounds have an allotment, living willow and a pond/outside learning environment. As an Eco-School they want to make sure the children have the best possible start and understand about renewable energy and sustainability. Solar panels were a perfect choice for Clipstone Brook as not only are they able to cut their carbon emissions but using The Carbon Trust approved funding they are able to do this with no net cost to the school. They were also very keen that the money generated from the savings and income can then be put back into the school and used in other key areas.
