Marsh Green Primary School has installed a 27.75 kWp Solar PV array on their roofs.

The Background

Marsh Green Primary School is a small primary school in Barking, Essex. They provide a friendly and supportive ethos in which all pupils and staff are valued and can achieve success. Marsh Green ensure that each child is sufficiently motivated and encouraged to reach their full potential. The school shows children standards of excellence and encourage them to gain satisfaction from their achievements. One of Marsh Green’s aims is to help children become responsible citizens with a caring attitude to the environment. Alongside installing Solar PV, Evogreen provide a Curriculum Assist Programme. This contains lesson plans and resources designed to engage the children in the changes happening to the environment. Marsh Green have demonstrated to it’s students that by embracing this renewable technology, they are both preserving the environment and being responsible for the community’s well being.
