Copford CofE VC Primary School

Copford Church of England VC Primary School have installed a 14.50 kWp Solar PV array on their roof.

The Background

Copford is a primary school based in Colchester, Essex. It’s a friendly, open and caring school, where the education for the whole child is central to all we strive to achieve. In addition to gaining academic skills and knowledge, the children build confidence, develop self reliance, learn to make decisions and develop the ability to articulate feelings and ideas. At Copford, the Solar PV installation has given the children the opportunity to see first hand exactly what action can be taken to prevent climate change. The savings that Copford Primary will make through the help of Carbon Trust approved funding will enable the school to focus on other areas of their choice.
